Privacy Policy – Warfarin Wise

      Short version: Warfarin Wise does not collect or store your health entries on our servers. Everything you track stays on your device. To manage the 7-day free trial and premium access, the app may send a device-linked identifier to our server. No INR logs, symptom notes, food logs, or other health entries are uploaded.
    

1. Who We Are

2. Data We Do Not Collect

We do not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal information. This includes:

Your name, email address, or any identifying information
Your health data (INR results, warfarin doses, symptoms, food logs, etc.)
Your location
Your advertising IDs
Usage analytics or crash reports sent to our servers

3. Free Trial and Subscription Access

To prevent repeated free trials across reinstalls, Warfarin Wise may send a device-linked identifier to our server when checking trial eligibility. We use this only to determine whether the 7-day trial has already started for that device and to support premium access continuity.

This server-side trial record does not include your INR results, symptom notes, food logs, medication history, reminders, or any other health entries. We do not use this identifier for advertising or cross-app tracking.

4. Where Your Data Lives

All data you enter into Warfarin Wise — including INR results, warfarin doses, Vitamin K logs, symptom notes, alcohol and cannabis entries, and reminders — is stored only on your device using local storage (SQLite and AsyncStorage). It never leaves your device and is never sent to our servers or any third party.

The only exception is the minimal trial-access record described above. If you delete the app, all health data stored by the app is permanently deleted from your device.

5. No Account Required

Warfarin Wise does not require you to create an account, log in, or provide any personal information to use the app.

6. Notifications

If you enable reminders, the app will request permission to send you local notifications (e.g. daily warfarin reminders or INR check reminders). These notifications are scheduled entirely on your device. No notification data is sent to our servers.

7. Third-Party Services

Warfarin Wise does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or data services. There are no ads in the app.

The app uses the following open-source libraries and frameworks solely to function on your device:

React Native / Expo (UI framework)
SQLite (local on-device database)
AsyncStorage (local on-device key-value storage)
Expo Application (device-linked identifier for trial access only)
Expo Notifications (local on-device reminders only)

These tools do not upload your health entries. The device-linked identifier used for trial access is described above.

8. Children's Privacy

Warfarin Wise is not directed at children under the age of 13 and we do not knowingly collect any information from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

If we ever change this privacy policy, we will update the date at the top of this page and note it in the app's release notes. We will never introduce data collection without clearly disclosing it.
